It won't be back for a while. And it will be in a different form with new forum software, probably xenForo, rather than ancient vBulletin, though with a similar layout.

Speaking of puberty, the earliest computers did not have monitors of any kind. Data was entered on punched cards, and the results were printed on a line printer. Then computers came to have teletypewriters, or TTYs, for input and output. When computers developed TTYs is when they reached puberty.

Perhaps I'm not yet "qualified" to like posts.  Maybe that comes after I accumulate more posts.

I've been waiting a whole week to be able to log in - I came in on April 26th - and my account isn't approved to register yet. I gather there are sections of this forum I can't even read until I can log in. How long is this supposed to take? If that was by any chance a payment to a credit card, it took me a while to get used to the fact that my credit card payments take three business days to get processed. I was accustomed to debit cards and instantaneous payment processing for some time before I got a credit card.

No, I was wide awake, up and about.  But I was having other mental dislocations as well about online things. Had a very stressful evening trying to resolve an online payment that didn't get credited. If I imagined I saw those posts, that scares the crap outta me.  Never experienced anything like that before in my life.  I even saved something in Notepad that I have no idea now what it was for.

It was a very strange episode.
