Another ddos attack on Don's website has been overcome.  Don as well has overcome some health challenges. 

I saw Jotunns post and decided to join as another backup in case the tiny hat gangsters eventually......... well you know.

Well, it's been two weeks since Stormfront came back to partial functionality.  Any word on when UserCP and Private Messaging might be restored?

Sorry, I actually didn't quite take the question seriously. As far as I know, every forum has private messaging, and this one is certainly no exception. I suppose it would be possible for an admin to deactivate the private messaging function, but I've never encountered a forum where that has been done.

Well, not sure what the deal is, but Stormfront at this moment is not loading at all... not even an error message, nothing but a blank page. Hopefully that means it's being worked on at the moment, but who knows.

.... Blank page has just resolved into a Cloudflare 524 timeout notification.

Edit: Now it's loading again.

Three weeks today SF has been limping along with no User CP or PM's.  As I speculated weeks ago when we were wondering if it would come back at all, I strongly suspect Don's health is a factor.  Maybe getting SF back as much as he did proved too much for him.

I hope I'm wrong, but does anyone have a better theory?

Jotunn, I would register, but as I don't have a regular email, I'd have to use s temp one.  Since you check in here only intermittently, the box would expire before I could respond to your confirmation email.  Guerrilla mail is no answer because, while the mailbox never expires, the messages in them do after one hour.  So that's no help either.  I certainly can't keep checking hour after hour.

We would have to set up an appointment.

Seriously, what is the future of Stormfront looking like at this point?

I'm reasonably sure Don can fix it, I just hope he has some kind of plan for its future. Frankly I think Stormfront should be archived and a brand new forum be created, with a new name, to take up the torch.
